The outlet manifold collectors high-temperature converted gas (H₂+CO+CO ₂+CH ₄) from multiple radiation tubes, with a temperature of up to 700-900 °C, and needs to withstand thermal stress and hydrogen corrosion.

The inlet manifold collectors transport raw gas (such as a mixture of natural gas and water vapor), typically at a temperature below 400 °C, but the medium may contain chloride ions or trace amounts of sulfur, requiring protection against pitting corrosion.
